A Russian name for a boy. I think it's a neat equivalent of "Steve".

Is the "i" a short or long sound? I imagine it pronounced "Sti-va," but all the people with Russian accents I know have trouble with the short "i" sound, (Snickers become Sneekers) so I guess it would be "Stee-va."
