Which do you prefer and why - Claire or Fleur - and can you think of other girls' names that might appeal to a man who says "Yes, maybe" to both, but laughs and says "No!" when Pearl is suggested?

Claire!

Gorgeous, fresh, clear, simple. My number 1 girls name.
I like Fleur too, but not nearly as much.

Fleur!

I would definately go with Fleur. I think it is lovely, you rarely ever see it (if ever!), and it has a beautiful meaning. It will definately be more fresh and unique than all the kids named Rose, Lily, and Violet.

I love Claire. It's beautiful. Fleur is alright. It's association with Fleur Delacor isn't great. Maybe he would like Clara.

I'd opt for Fleur -- I strongly dislike Claire.

However, I adore Clare.
