I've always loved the name and it has a lovely sound.

Love, love, love it. Exotic, regal, alluring and slightly mysterious.

Well, with the Spanish prn of ee-NES, I love it. I think it sounds soft & pretty. However, it was my adoptive maternal grandmother's name, & they were German, so they prn it EYE-nezz. I really don't care for it prn that way! :o)Show me a piano falling down a mine shaft, and I will show you A-flat minor.

I love Inez (or Ines) too. It is a form of Agnes but softer. I often wonder why Inez/Ines is so unusual when Agnes is so common (Agnes is popular in Sweden)."You sought a flower and found a fruit. You sought a spring and found a sea. You sought a woman and found a soul. You are disappointed."

I think it's fine as name --but, just wondering. In Australia, is Inez normally pronounced with the first syllable rhyming with "buy" or "bee"?
