Is Melissa really that dated?Cos atm im loving the name Melissa :)

I think it's so pretty and yes, it feels a bit 70's/80's (I grew up with a lot of them) but those are some of my favorite names and it doesn't feel outdated to me at all. I think it would be great to hear on a sweet little baby! It's a beautiful name.

I wouldn't say it was dated, maybe a little retro, but that's fine with me! Actually, it may start growing on me.

A little, but it's still adorable, and would be very refreshing on a new baby! There is nothing wrong with a name that is a bit dated!

Melissa has a real 70s/80s vibe and feels a little dated to me, but not unusably so. I've always thought it was pretty.

Not really. Maybe not as common as it once was, but it's still pretty popular. The youngest Melissa I know is about six, I think.
