Josephine!I love it so much I named my daughter Josephine. She's Josie about half of the time.

I'm quite the oppositeI can't stand Alexandra. It's just boring. I like Alexandria because it has this history of being this great city and so on. I even prefer Alexandrine to Alexandra, I just don't like it I guess. I'd probably pick both of those names over Josephine but meh.

I'm with you...It feels frumpy and awkward and dated and old to me, and I don't get why it's pretty! I'm definitely in the minority on this board, but I just hate the name.

Josephine, so pretty!I can't stand Alex- names, Alexandra being my least favorite. I prefer Aless- names (Alessa, Alessandra)instead, which is odd, because I'm like the queen of X names, if a name has an x there's a good chance I like it!
