I like Lacey. Not exactly my style but it's cute. I knew a girl named Lacy (this spelling) she was very smart and sweet, so I have a good association with the name. I think I prefer the similar sounding Macy though.I think if it's being used as a middle name then it would work well with a classic first name or a longer first name.Annabel Lacey
Christine Lacey
Rebecca Lacey
Catherine Lacey
Georgia Lacey
Samantha Lacey
Veronica Lacey

Go on, be evil and get lazy.

Very...unsophisticated imo. Lacey is cutesy, very little girly to me and Lace is too reminiscent of an 'exotic dancer' or somesuch, I think. Even for mn's, I'd vote NO.

Lace? For a name? Uhh, no!
Lacey? For a middle name? Also, no!
Lacey sounds okay for a first name, but not for a middle name._________________________________________________

I really, really dislike both. They're kind of like an artificial sweetner for names. -Amy-

I definitely prefer Lacey for a middle name on a girl. At the same time, I have a hard time imagining it as a middle name as opposed to a first name, since I have a friend named Lacey. :)
I'm totally stumped on first names to go with it, though. *~Mama to one beautiful daughter and another on the way!~*

I like Lacey better than Lace, but Lacey does sound a bit masculine to me--in Cormac McCarthy's All the Pretty Horses, the sidekick character is a man named Lacey Rawlins.I think that Lacey would sound nice with something semi-short and non-wordy. Like...Mara Lacey, Regina Lacey, Katherine Lacey...?Array
