[Opinions] Ariel
What do you think of Ariel? Do you prefer it for a boy or a girl? How do you pronounce Ariel? Different from Arielle?Arielle or Ariel for a girl?I actually like Ariel pr. ah-ree-ELL best for a girl but wonder if there would be many pronunciation problems. I also like Ariel pr. AH-ree-el or AIR-ee-el. Which pronunciation do you prefer and which one is best for Ariel?I also like Arielle but wonder if it's a bit frilly plus it doesn't go well with Noah Olivia, my favorite for a girl.Noah and Ariel for sisters? Noah Olivia and Ariel ???Do you think it's still too common? How many with the name do you know?

I love this name. I hope to use it one day if I ever have a girl. I prefer Ariel to Arielle but I pronounce them both as you would the disney mermaid! Regarding the popularity, I've met one little girl named Ariel. I think it is strongly associated with the disney movie, but hey shes the prettiest disney princess by far! ;)

I like Ariel for a girl, but not for a boy.
I pronounce it AIR-ee-el. I tend to say Arielle as ar-ee-EL.
Ariel.
I like AIR-ee-el and AH-ree-el, but if the accent is on the EL I think you should spell it Arielle.
I agree that Arielle is a bit frilly; Ariel is better.
They work as sisters, I think.... Noah Olivia and Ariel Jade? Ariel Joan? Ariel Raine?
I know 2 people named Ariel and none named Arielle. I don;t think it's too common, but the Disney princess association might be too strong. Actually, I almost suggested Jasmine as a mn until I realized that :)

I prefer Ariel on a boy, and I pronounce it AIR-ee-el. I pronounce Arielle air-ee-EL or ah-ree-EL. For a girl, I guess I prefer Arielle, although Ariel is all right. I prefer the pronunciation AIR-ee-el for Ariel. Noah and Ariel sound fine to me, although I don't like them much for sisters. I would love to see them on brothers. I can't think of any Ariels I've met. I know an Arielle and an Ariella, but they're both teenagers.

What do you think of Ariel? Do you prefer it for a boy or a girl? -I like the name and prefer it on a girl.
How do you pronounce Ariel? Different from Arielle?-Somewhat! I say Ariel quickly and with Arielle I emphasize the elle. ARI-el and ari-ELLE.Arielle or Ariel for a girl? -Both!
I actually like Ariel pr. ah-ree-ELL best for a girl but wonder if there would be many pronunciation problems. I also like Ariel pr. AH-ree-el or AIR-ee-el. Which pronunciation do you prefer and which one is best for Ariel?-I prefer AIR-ee-el and that is the one I think is best.
I also like Arielle but wonder if it's a bit frilly plus it doesn't go well with Noah Olivia, my favorite for a girl.-I think it goes fine with Noah Olivia. I think Ariel is less frilly and Arielle is more frilly. I like frilly names lol. However, the Ariel spelling is not as frilly. So I think Ariel and Noah would look nice together in a sibset. Arielle and Noah not so much. So I would go with the Ariel spelling personally in this situation.Noah and Ariel for sisters? Noah Olivia and Ariel ???-YesDo you think it's still too common? How many with the name do you know?-I don't think it is too common. I don't know anyone by that name.
