I'm discovering a fondness for Welsh names lately.

I like:

Nia -- love the fact that this is a name and not short for anything
Rhian -- love this
Nerys
Bryn
Mair
Trystan -- prefer Tristan
Gwen -- prefer this short for Gwendolen
Aled -- this could grow on me

I really love Nia and Bryn (on a boy, obviously). Angharad and Rhian is growing on me all the time.

I love Heledd, Gethin, Trystan, Angharad and Gwenon. Heledd is one of my favourite names :). Nia's cute, but it's too short and simplistic for me. Carwyn and Bryn are quite nice too.

No idea

They were on the back of the school sweater of the person sitting in front of me during my exam today (spent a while staring at it!).

I've never heard of Bryn on a female, though.
