[Opinions] Firenze
I'm starting to like it. It's a bit different but not too different. The origin puts be of a bit - I'm not keen on place names - but apart from that I've got nothing against it. What do you think of it? Can you think of any combos?

I just can't see it on a real person. The only time I've "seen" it used as a name is for that centaur in Harry Potter... it's a bit too "out there" as a real name, IMO. Plus, I dislike the popularity of place names--to me, it feels as trendy as London or Paris would. I much prefer Florence, if you're looking to name after the city.

I love it for a character, not sure about real life. I would much rather name someone Firenze than Florence, although it does make me think of the centaur.

I don't like placenames-turned-peoplenames, and Firenze is no exception. It sounds strange in English, and it isn't even an accepted person's name in Italy, where the name comes from. If you really like the city, best to go with Florence.

I find it odd. It reminds me of the centaur in Harry Potter, but I can't imagine it on a person. It's not used as a name in Italy.
