[Facts] Eilidh-Gaelic (Greek for light)English version is Helen, but Gaelic word also a hind, female deer.
We named our daughter Eilidh, a good strong Scottish name, believed to come from the Greek, for light, English version is Helen, but also the Gaelic word for hind, a female deer! I only just discovered that in a gaelic word glossary at the back of a travel book.
