In my generation, naming your daughter Jennifer is the same as naming them Jane Doe. In high school, we were all Jenny, and sometimes Jen. My cousin's wife (they married last year) and I have the same first and middle names Jennifer Marie. Last name is different at least. I remember only one girl from college with Jenny as her legal fn.
Since my generation is the one having kids right now, I'd say very few Jennifers or Jennas are being born right now. Perhaps when we're grandmas or greatgrandmas it will become more popular.
