So I recently came across this name on the internets and was wondering if anyone has ever met anyone with this name.

Is it masculine or feminine? Thoughts?

It seems masculine to me; I'd assume it was a variation on Jonty.

Then again, Jody is also masculine to me...

I've known a Jonty (as a nickname for Jonathan), and a Rondy (he was from Bangladesh).

Never heard of Jondy before, but the similar Jonty is a nn for Jonathan

I never heard or read Jondy before.

But i know the spelling Jonte. It is pronounced Yohn-teh.

JONTE is masculine in Sweden. Version of Jón = Johann (God is gracious),
It is a unisex name in Germany.
