I think it's lovely. I know a girl named Aurelia who is in her early 20s.

Yes. I've been waiting for Aurelia to make a break-out performance in the name ratings. I still think it's coming, but for now she's an underrated gem.I think she's gorgeous too. I pronounce her, "o-RAY-lee-uh," but the "o-REE-lee-uh" way is nice too. Aurelia can be sophisticated and stately, or quirky and artsy. There are different directions you can go with a mn. ETA: Silly me. After reading some of the other comments and re-reading your original post, I see you've already found your perfect mn. Aurelia Margaret is lovely. I'd put that in the stately / sophisticated catagory. :-)

It's not a name I'd use personally, but I'd love to meet a baby Aurelia.
Aurelia Margaret is very pretty. I also like Aurelia Bethany and Aurelia Josephine.

I agree - Aurelia is gorgeous and I would absolutely use it. I know an Aurelie, actually, but prefer Aurelia by quite a lot (o-RAY-lee-uh vs or-UH-lee is miles better, in my opinion). Aurelia Margaret works really really well; my combo is Aurelia Hero :)

I like it too; it shimmers like silk. Margaret gives it grounding!

I know some of you do not, but I pronounce it uh-REEL-ya, and the only Aurelia I have known pronounced it so. I know it is rather Anglofied, but I like it.

It's beautiful, though not really the sort of name I'd use.
