I LOVE Penelope! Like Pen for a nn, only. Never Penny.

If I had to name my daughter Penelope I would call her Nell. The only thing I don't like about the name is that some people can't pronounce it properly.

I like Penelope and Penny as a nn.

I like Penelope, although I would usually just use it as a middle name. My favourite nickname is Penny, but you could also use Nell, Poppy or El.

I like Penelope very much, and would have used it given a few extra daughters. It works well as a full name, but the nns I know are Penny, Poppy and Nell. I would have used Penny.

Penelope isn't a name I'd use myself, but I can appreciate it.

I love Polly. It is adorable. P.J. is also a cute nn if you opt for a middle name beginning with J.

I like Penelope and I love the French pronunciation. I don't think I'd use it myself but it's certainly a great name. Nell is an adorable and I much prefer Nell to Penny. You may even be able to get away with Nella, if you're into it.

I love love love the name Penelope. if I have more than one daughter, I will probably use Penelope (Elsa is already slated to be my first daughter's name ;-)). I think Nelly would be a cute NN, or maybe Penny or Poppy.

I love Penny as a nickname. I like Penelope but I wouldn't use it. I dislike the -pee sound at the end. Even though this sound also appears in one of my favorites: Pia. I just notice it in Penelope.

I have come across a little Penelope with the nn Pippi which I think is adorable. Penny has really been growing on me lately and Nell, Nellie and Nella are all very spunky
