I think Marie would be my first choice, then Marian. Marigold, not so much. It seems silly.Marie Caroline

Marigold! I don't like Marian much: prefer Marianne; and I've known a Marion (who's about 30) since she was born so I'm used to that; and Marie is just so tired. It would be sad if a little Marigold was beige in hair and personality, but I'm sure her name would lift her. But a small redheaded Marigold with spunk ... now you're talking!

I like all of them, but probably Marigold or Marie would make my day the most.

Marigold, without a doubt. It's my favorite of the three, and I've never seen it before on a real person. Marie is my second favorite, and I've never really liked Marian. Actually, thinking about Marian now, I can kind of see the appeal. Or at the very least, I can respect it. I think I would actually be happier to meet a little Marian than a little Marie simply because Marie seems a bit like the "safer" choice. Marian takes more guts.

Marigold because I have a crush on it, but they're all good.

I adore Marigold and I'd love to see it on a person of any age. Marian is a male name to me.

Marie or Marian. I dislike the name Marigold.

I actually might go for Marie on this one. Marian is nice, but not terribly exciting to me. Marigold would make me happy, but it's a bit along the hip or celebrity baby name lines. But Marie is so refreshing as a first name. Yes, I would like to see that methinks.

Marian or Marigold with Marigold leaning to more ... fascinating.

Either Marie or Marian. I prefer Marie, which I think is lovely, but Marian would be a tad more interesting considering that Marie is so common as a middle name. Marie is certainly more interesting as a first name than a middle name though, so I wouldn't call it a boring first name for a little girl.Marigold is a neat name, but I prefer it for a character. It could work well for a person who is typically outwardly lively and artistic, but it doesn't work for everyone, and probably not for most people. I'd still like to meet a Marigold though.
