I would pronounce Selena and Selina differently. Selena = Suh LAY nuh. Selina = Suh LEE nuh.

I like Selena a lot but I wouldn't use it myself. Nope, I've never known a single one. I prefer Selena but overall, Serena. It just has more appeal.

Selena over Selina.

I like it, it's pretty and unusual. I know several Célines, but only one Selena who's probably responsible for me liking it - she's a dreamboat and a really nice kid. I like the Selena spelling better - Selina is very English and makes me think of red-faced cooks in 18th-century novels.

I love the name Selena and I would totally use it. I don't know any Selena's (the only Selena I know is Selena Gomez).

I don't love Selena, but it's not bad. I know a 1 year old baby by this name. I definitely prefer Selena over Selina, but I like Serena a bit more than Selena.

One of my best friend's names is Selena! (: I don't know her middle name though... But I do love the name Selena. The only drawback is that I bitterly despise Selena Gomez. I would definately use it, if it weren't for Selena Gomez. To honor my friend. But most people would think you were naming the kid after a Disney Channel star. And I much much much prefer Selena to Selina. And I like Selena better than Serena.

Selena Margaret is a lovely combo, I think.

I immediately think of the singer who was killed. I have never known anyone by this name and I prefer the Selena spelling. In my opinion Selena is miles better than Serena (I have known a Serena and she killed that name for me.)

I don't like Selena too much. I've never known anyone with the name, and I wouldn't use it myself. Of the two spellings, I prefer Selena. I far prefer Serena, and Serena is a name that I would consider using.

I prefer Serena, though I'm not sure why. I've known one Serena, though not well, and no Selenas or Selinas; I did know a Celine once, long before Ms Dion, who loathed her name for being sentimental and called herself Sally. I, too, prefer Sally to the lot of them, but if it was necessary to choose I'd pick Serena.
