[Opinions] Abrielle
Friend of the fam's daughter just had DD#2: Abrielle Victoria. (The dad is Filipino.) Firt time I've encountered Abrielle. I have to admit I squirmed a little when someone on fb referred to her as Abby. I'm tired of that nn.wdyt?Just found out this morning it's another form of Gabrielle. (Victoria may be after the baby's grandma)

I met an Aubrielle maybe 15 years ago. Then I loved it but now it's getting to be over used in all it's forms..

Abrielle is OK. I don't care for the nn Abby. The only problem I can see is that people will always hear it as a child mispronouncing Gabrielle. Still, it's better than Gabrielle itself.

Is Abrielle something they made up?Either way, to be honest, it could be worse. I think I'd rather see an Abrielle than another Ava or Sophia, really. I think Abigail has a prettier sound, but I don't feel like complaining too much. As for calling her Abby, I also find that to be prettier than Abrielle. *Shrug* I'm not jumping for joy, but I don't really think it's bad. And Victoria goes with it nicely.
