EleanorBoth names are beautiful, but I think that Eleanor is much classier.I don't like the nn Elle though. My favorite nn for Eleanor is Ellie or Nora.Jamy })i({

Both are pretty but it seems better to go with Eleanor. Olivia has gotten very popular. Eleanor nn Elle is a pretty name. Chances are, she will be the only one in her class named Eleanor (depending on where you live).

I really love both of the names, but I slightly prefer Eleanor. Olivia is great though, but it's popularity has made it a little dull. I don't love Elle as a nickname though, I prefer Ellie. Liv is cute for Olivia, but Ollie might be a bit more unusual and spunky, if that fits your character at all.

Eleanor because it's less common and I just like the sound of it. It's not a beautiful, flowing name to me; it just sounds strong and competent.

Olivia. Because
1. I hate the name Eleanor.
2. Olivia is my name.

Olivia over Eleanor but Elle over Liv

OliviaI don't really like either of them but if I had too choose I'd go with Olivia. To me they're both old and fat sounding names IMHO (no offense to anyone with these names).
and I wonder
when I sing along with you
if everything could ever feel this real forever
if anything could ever be this good again

Eleanor. Olivia is becoming kind of trendy. Plus I just prefer the sound of Eleanor.

It's just an object. It doesn't mean what you think

Eleanor...Eleanor is a lot better than Olivia- it has a longer history and just better.

Olivia - Liv: Olivia is a very nice name, but its popularity is a drawback for me. Liv is sweet on its own.
Eleanor - Elle: Eleanor is lovely (athough I like Elinor better). Elle on the other hand lacks imagination... why not use a different nn?

I love both names, but I slightly prefer Eleanor because Olivia is so overused. But I greatly dislike the nn Elle. And I love the name/nn Liv. :b So if Eleanor had a different nn, like Ella, Ellie, Nell, Nora, then it would be my pick.
