[Opinions] Sidony, Sidonie and Sidney
Sidony and Sidonie have been on my long name list for ages now and, for one reason or another, they always got sidelined. Today, however, I can't get them out of my mind.So I was wondering what you thought of these names.
Nice? Too frilly? Too obscure? Just plain weird?
Also, do you pronounce the names differently depending on the spelling (I do)?Earlier this evening, I read the comments in the comment section of both names. Some people there thougt that the name looks like a butchered pronunciation/spelling of Sidney. Do you agree? Or are Sidony and Sidonie distinct enough? And while we are at it, what do think of Sidney on a boy?
Do you think Sidney is still usable as a boys' name in this day and age, or has it become too much of a girls' name?
Thanks in advance!
