What do you think of Thora? I guess it's a feminine version of Thor. I think it's kind of cute and I like it for a girl.

Also what do you think of Aquinnah? Nickname would be Quinn.

Well I like Flora and I like Dora so yep Thora fits in on my likes list too :)

I also think it would be cute for a little girl and I imagine her to grow up into a 'takes no crap from anybody' strong-willed type of girl. Fiesty!

As for Aquinnah. How can you like Thora and then like Aquinnah lol anyway I'm no fond of Aquinnah, it looks creatively made up (not sure if it is?). Quinn is okay, if you like Quinn i'd just go for Quinn.

Though Thora for the win!

I like Thora a lot, with the English pronunciation. It would probably get confused with Flora here, but it's just as pretty, and doesn't have the annoying margarine association.

Aquinnah is the name of a tribe who don't use it as a personal name, so it's too faux-Native-American for me. I can't see Quinn as anything other than a last name.

I really really like Thora. I makes me think of Thora Birch, which is the only time I have heard it. I don't like Thor; it feels too he-man and fanciful.
Thora is unusual yet regal, elegant & strong.

I commented about Aquinnah in your previous post.

I love Thora. It's so out-of-the-ordinary-yet-still-classic. Thora Willow is my stock combination, but I worry that I'm being unconciously influenced by the acctress Thora Birch. (Not that she's a bad associaiton at all. I just like to *think* that I'm original.) I don't like Thor at all for a boy; it sounds too comicbook hero-ish. But Thora for a girl is great. Go figure.

Aquinnah? Is that a Native American name? I knod of like it. It reminds me of Thomas Aquinas more than America, but that sort of gives it a two dimentional quality that I'm digging. I'm not big on Quinn as the nn though. Too masculine. (I assume Aquinnah is for a girl, right?)

Yes, Aquinnah would be for a girl. I could call her Quinn sometimes but she'd have a longer, more feminine name to fall back on. I pronounce it ah-KWINN-nah whereas I pronounce Aquina more like ah-KEE-na, but I've been to a place named Aquina, pronounced like that. I also like Aquinna pronounced like Aquinnah.

Yeah, Aquinnah is a place that was named by Native Americans as far as I know. It means "land under the hill".

I like Thora Birch, too. Thora Willow is pretty. I like Thor for a boy, but only with an English pronunciation. For some reason I dislike the Scandinavian one in which the Th is pronounced as a T.

I love Thora! It manages to be soft and strong at the same time.

I'm not as fond of Aquinnah, though I vastly prefer it to Quinn.

I love Thora. It's not difficult for most people to spell or pronounce, and it's not overly popular.

Aquinnah is decent, but I'm not overly fond of the way it looks. The sound of it is okay, though.
