[Opinions] Meredith
Has been steadily growing on me as of late (for a girl). I find it both quite and demure but also sturdy and independent. How do you like it? Combo ideas?

I really dilike Meredith. It seems like an 'old person' name. I'll have a go at some combos:Meredith Alison
Meredith Lesley
Meredith Tabitha
Meredith Candace
Meredith Charlotte
Meredith Susannah

Meredith is the only name I've ever preemptivly "claimed" (I'm still embarrassed--I don't actually believe you should be able to call dibs on a name, but I did it anyway). I warned my brother off it when my SIL was expecting my niece 4 years ago. It was my number one girl name at the time. I can still see myself using it. I love it, and I get the same feel from it as you do. My combo at the time was Meredith Ava. I've cooled on Ava, so I'm not sure if I'd use it today.

I like it, but probably wouldn't use it. It's very no-nonsense and has a certain strength which is appealing.

I know lots of people hate it because it was originally masculine, but I like it anyway. It certainly isn't my usual style, but I think you're right, there's something sturdy about it that's appealing. I certainly wouldn't use it, but it's probably in my top 100 fave names for girls. It does kind of remind me of Meredith Brooks, the singer from the nineties who sang "Bitch."

I love Meredith always have. My favorite combo for her is Meredith Claire; nice and classic and one of my go to combos. I also like Meredith Mikel, Meredith Ann, Meredith Louise, and Meredith Rosalie.

I think it's really pretty and way underused nowadays. And it ages well, too :)I know one Meredith, my cousin whose name is Meredith Kate and is two.

I think it's ok. I don't really have any strong feelings about it. The good thing: it's underused. I only know two, one is a teenager and one in her 60s. Both female.Meredith Clare
Meredith Celine
Meredith Clarait works well with a C name, in my opinion.
