I find them both rather bleah, but the Kai people I've known have been a lot nicer than the Dylan people, so it would be my preference though not my choice. I wouldn't use either.

Kai!Dylan is soo overused, and Kai is so fresh and handsome. I wish I could use it!

I like both (they're masculine for me) but prefer Dylan. Merlin is another "sea" name I enjoy and, as a middle name, I love Muir.

DittoDylan isn't my style either, but Kai is just fluff to me, or chi, the Greek letter used in frat names.

I really like both of them, but I'm in a Dylan mood today, so that gets my vote. Malachi nn Kai would be a different story, though.
