[Opinions] Ciaran or Connor?
Which do you like better?
Do you like both or any of them?
Does it matter which spellings are used? Or does that not matter much to you compared to the sound of the name?
Ciaran, Kieran, or Keiran are all spellings I like.
Connor, Conor, or Conner are all spellings that I like.
This post is inspired by my husband mentioning that he likes Connor, then his mother mentioned liking it as well. I've always liked Connor except I went through a phase of disliking common names for a while but I got over that phase completely by the time I graduated college. I always associate Connor with one of my favorite little towns called La Conner.

Neither are my cup of tea, really. I think I prefer Ciaran over Connor, simply because I feel like Connor is kind of 90s. I prefer Ciaran for the spelling, and as for Connor, well isn't Conor the original and Connor a varient? I'm not sure.
One name that I associate with these that I do sort of like is Callum. I'm surprised it isn't more popular in the US.

Ciaran, Kieran, or Keiran - I like Kieran best
Connor, Conor, or Conner - I like Connor best.
Between Kieran and Connor...both are nice. I like Kieran a bit better, I think, just because of the con part of Connor. I'm not sure if there is a good way to shorten Connor, but I do like the name. Maybe Cor? Corey?

Connor for sure
Agree!
I like Connor but am not found of Ciaran.
Spelling does matter because frequently someone may read a name without hearing it or knowing the correct pronunciation for instance when looking at a resume or class roster. In this case spelling it not quite as important since both are fairly common names. I do prefer Connor and Conor over Conner.
