Damon is my second favorite name for a boy. I love it. Here's what I have said about it in the past (and the opinions of others are also in this thread)

There's also a link to an even older thread about Damian vs. Damon. I think most people prefer Damian because it has a more fashionable "soft" sound. Not that much my style. I think Damian's a nice name, but if it made my husband think of The Omen, I would just stop considering it.
