[Opinions] Issac and Isaac
I don't see the big deal on why Isaac can't be spelt Issac just because the bible spelt it that way. Just because it's different doesn't mean its wrong, people should stop being so rude about it.

Why, what have people said about it? :(

People like to come to the ops board and respond to comments on names, such as those found here: http://www.behindthename.com/name/issac/comments So this is probably in response to:
QuoteWith this spelling, the name should be pronounced ''I-sak'', not ''IE-zak''. If you really want to use this rather ugly name on your son, spell it the logical way.

Oh and it was Slight Night Shiver, everyone's fave. The one who says that people use classic names because they didn't want their child.

They're also the one that always spouts in all of the comment sections about how "ghetto" names sound also... right? They seem like... an all-around nice person. /s

Where I live, it's usually spelt Isak and shortened to Sakkie, and nobody ever dies of shock. A world as big as this one has plenty of room for variety, and I don't remember seeing your name put forward as Global Dictator Of Public Morals, so just calm down.

Issac is not intuitive. It looks like it should be pronounced IS-ak, not EYE-zak. That's why it's stupid.

I think it looks odd with the double S. I couldn't care less that it's Isaac in the Bible.
