I'm neutral to it, I could, I suppose, get use to being an Evanna..rather glam.compared to my wash and wear Jean.I say Ee-vahana.

Jean is very glamorous in a different way though!I think when you say ee-VAHna (like Ivana), it does sound snootier than ee-VANna (like Eve-Anna).

I pronounced it ee-VON-a at first blush...only because it's not natural for me to pronounce it ee-VAN-a. It's pretty either way.

I say eh VAN nah. It looks like a feminine form of Evan to me. It makes me think of Evanna Lynch, who played Luna Lovegood.

I'd pronounce it EV-ANNA and I'm definitely not a fan of this name.

I pronounce it like Ivana as in Trump. That's my first and only thought about it, really. Otherwise It just seems like a trendy add on to Eva/Ava/Evelyn. It could be pretty in theory but feels a bit princessy and over the top; like, I'd feel pretentious calling out to my kid named Evanna.

With an i as in Isabel, and then it's Anna with a V!I don't like it much at all; I mildly prefer Ivana, but not enough to say it's a name I might ever use.

I'd pronounce it eh-VAN-uh. I think it's ok, I kind of like Evandra too, which could be the feminine form of Evander.

Ooh, Evandra is neat.

I like it and pronounce it somewhat like e-VAN-ah. Now that I think about it I quite like Evana as well, but I pronounce that like e-VAH-na.

I think it's pretty, and I actually totally forgot about it. I'd say ev-AH-na, even though I suppose ev-AN-a makes more sense and I also tend to prefer the A to AH sound.

Yes, I was surprised that I want to say ev-Ah-na, I think our accents are similar.

I think I like it, but personally wouldn't us it. I pronounce it as you would Vanna White but with an E. E-vanna.

I'm inclined to say ee-VAN-ah. I like it, imo it has a similar stern feeling as Evelyn and Sylvia but without the prickly librarian-ness. Does that make sense? It would seem very mature on a kid but I don't think that's a bad thing.Oooh plus the meanings are super cool.
