[Opinions] Damian
What do you think of Damian? I always thought it was a bit evil sounding due to its closeness to the word demon. What do you think? And what are your opinions on Damon and Damiano?

I like it (: Damian to me is a handsome and charming classic. A name that I instantly became attracted to. I prefer it over Damon and Damiano but those names are alright. The associations of Damian don't bother me.

I dislike Damon and have no associations with Damiano.I like both Damian and Damien, and certainly don't think them even slightly demonic!
I've never met a Damian; two gay friends of mine are both in relationships with very nice guys named Damien, which is mildly weird but not significant.

It's okay. I always think of a kind of emo-style vampire. I hate Damon purel because I knew the most soulless asshole by that name. I do not like Damiano. He sounds like a descendant of Dracula.

It's a nice name I think. Sounds nice and Catholic and ancient, yet also a little bit gothic because of the Demon thing. And it has a nice rhythm, nice rolling syllables. I prefer it to Damon and Damiano.

Well, one of my most favorite boy names is Damon. So I don't think Damian sounds close to demon at all. It's sinister only because of association with the character in the movie The Omen. But when I met a guy named Damian, that didn't seem to matter at all. It's just a nice name. I prefer Damon, I guess because Damian sounds less masculine to me ... it's less squared-off and more like Julian, Adrian, and other popular names. But I do think Damian is still a very masculine name. Damiano is cool, but a little more difficult for me to say.

I like Damian. I like it better than Damon and Damiano. I too have wondered if people associate it with evil but I think if they did they'd get over it quickly.
