Help[Opinions] Nicole or Danielle? (more)
Nicole and Danielle are both names that are dated in France and were also used a lot at a certain point in English speaking countries. I would like to know which one you would choose and why and what you think of both names. Just tell me anything that comes up when you hear the name, how would imagine a Nicole or a Danielle?

Danielle! I've always liked it a lot. It's pretty and upbeat without being immature. I'd imagine a little Danielle to be smart and totally adorable. I especially like Dannie as a nickname (I think it's more bubbly than Dani, also my cousin spells it that way so I tie it to her too much).
Nicole is just there for me. Plain, everyday. No real opinion on it, though thinking of it on a young girl it feels out of place, like it's not ready to be reused yet.

Dated still, here, especially Danielle. I grew up with tons of people named these.
Nicole seems less dated and I like it slightly more. I also like Nicola (NIC-o-la).
What I don't like about Danielle is mostly the yell sound in it. I like it more pronounced dah-nee-EL but I've always heard and said dan-YELL.
Danielle is a soft name, the Danielles I've known have been smart or witty, and slightly prickly. Nicole seems like more of a popular-girl name, bright and dominant and friendly. Both are pretty.

Nicole is nice! I much prefer it to Danielle. I also really like Nicolette. Nicole has piercing cerulean eyes, an aquiline nose, sharp cheekbones, and dark brown hair (that is such a lackluster description, wow). Danielle has curly blonde hair and baby blue eyes, with tan skin (that's even worse).

Nicole, by far! I also love the nickname Nikki (Minaj notwithstanding lol).
I think of a Nicole as sweet and bubbly with long blond hair and blue eyes. She's in her teens, has braces, and usually just goes by Nikki.
Danielle is a little older than Nicole, with curly brown hair and brown eyes. She's as sweet as Nicole, but less bubbly--more focused on getting things done than having fun.
And that's why I prefer Nicole over Danielle. lol

I LOVE Nicole. I think it's pretty. I love the sharpness of the first syllable with the roundness of the OH sound in the second. I've known Nicoles of all differwnt aplearances and personalities so no specific feel.

I think of women born in the 1980s. My high school class had 4 Nicoles. The names are fine. I have only known 2 Danielles. One sometimes went by Dani.
