Ender? It's an unreal verb form apparently... a label perhaps? The Ender - the one who ends it all!... no, apparently it's next installment of Lord of the Rings.

I personally think of Ender from the novel Ender's Game. It is not really a name to me, really. Sorry. :(

Yes, I believe Ender was a babyfied nn of his real name Andrew
but it's been a while since I read those books, I could be wrong. It worked very well in the books, but I would certainly never use this for a real boy.

Well it looks rather like Ember, but rather like and end. It also rhymes with fender, tender, defender, render and a few other words I can't think of right now. Mostly it just makes me think of an End. I don't think I really like it very well, sorry. :(

FYI, Ender Wiggin is the main character in a very, very popular series of sci-fi books by Orson Scott Card.

The book Ender's Game is about a futuristic Earth that has been repeatively attacked by an alien civilization. Ender is taken away from his family at age 6 to go to Battle School, where he trains with other children to save the world. It sounds like a kids' story, but it's not. Ender ends up killing several other children and is tricked into becoming a mass murderer.
I love the books, but I'm not sure about naming a kid after Ender. I believe several obsessed fans of the books have.
Also, an Ender's Game movie is in the works.
