Thoughts? The two have been on my mind lately! What combinations would you use them in if you had to?Thanks!

I've posted my love of Veronica before, but it really is an awesome name. Of all the combos I made, I think my favorite was Veronica Maeve.Tamsin... I'm not as keen on. Don't really like any "Tam" names (not fond of "Sam" either).

I've never known a Tamsin, I've only known of Tamsin Greig, but that's good to know, thanks. Veronica Fay and Veronica Ruby are great!

Tamsin Heather (I don't actually like the name Heather because it's common and dated, but I like the aesthetic of Tamsin and an English heath or something)Tamsin also reminds me of Tanith. As for nicknames, Tam is the only one I like. It sounds boyish but I can see it working. Just not Tammy. I can see Tassie maybe working but it's a bit of a stretch since it skips a consonant.

Ahhh, so many great suggestions, thank you so much! Something with Tamsin Rowan just clicks, and I also like Tamsin Betony, Tamsin Ivy, and Tamsin Heather, although non are normally my style. Tam is great. Also, were you thinking of Heathers when you mentioned Veronica sounding like a high school villain?

I've actually never seen Heathers! It's just the sense I get from the name.

I like Tamsin more, simply because Veronica is more common.Tamsin Eleanor
Tamsin BellatrixVeronica Helene
Veronica Calypso

I'm not big on Bellatrix, but Tamsin Beatrix would be great, so thanks for bringing it to mind. I had a pet named Calypso so I'm not sure I'd use it, but I certainly like it, along with the other combos you suggested!

Maybe it's because I'm in the UK, but I've never met a Veronica but I know 4 Tamsins. Two went by Tammy :(

I love Tamsin, but I don't like Veronica. Catchy song by Elvis Costello, though. ;)

There's nothing better than a song to make me like a name, haha! I hadn't heard it before but just had a quick listen and I think I like it.

Maybe it was before my time, but I've never heard the EC song.ETA after looking on Wiki: Oh, it was an 80s track. lol I was still only two when it came out, though. lol

I like both, but like Tamsin more. That's because, while Veronica is no doubt elegant and sultry, the "ron" syllable is a little off-putting to me. I'd be afraid to name a daughter Veronica because I wouldn't want her to be called Ronnie. And I believe that you can never be sure any intuitive nickname is 100% avoidable. Then again, Tamsin might lead to Tammy ,,,,,,I probably wouldn't actually use either, to be honest.

I hadn't really thought of Veronica being called Ronnie, although I know it's a possibility. I guess there are worse nicknames, although Ronnie very much reminds me of the Krays! Tammy for Tamsin feels less intuitive to me, although that's always a possibility too.

Adore Veronica (:Veronica Lucy or Lucy Veronica is the first combo that springs to mind.

Love them both!I wouldn’t pair either of them with another plant name or with each other, but other than that they’d go with just about anything.

Lol... just realized this was Tamsin and not Tansy. Derp. Still love all of those names, it just changes what I said about plants.

Haha, I guess that was an easy mistake to make, seeing Tamsin next to another floral name!

Veronica is very nice. It's a fun, kind of sparkly name. Tamsin, not so much. It seems grim somehow.

I definitely thought Veronica would be a name you liked, I'm not sure why!

Veronica is lovely, Tamsin is definitely not one I've heard very often but it's ok I guess. Not as pretty as Veronica though.

I think Tamsin is a different kind of pretty to Veronica, so I guess I know what you mean.
