[Opinions] Triplet BA
A New Orleans mom had her second set of triplets. I had to do a lot of hunting to find the names of the second set. They are as follows:Jack, Oliver, and Ellie and Georgie (f), Vivienne, and Wells (f)."Okay, what are your ideas? Taylor? Uh-huh. Fletcher? Cooper? Tanner? Where are you getting these? The Big Book Of Medieval Professions?"

Jack, Oliver, Ellie, and Vivienne are fine. Georgie and Wells are bad.

Wells definitely sticks out, and not in a good way. Jack and Oliver are nice, Ellie is way too nickname-y to be a full name, same with Georgie, and I love Vivian but Vivienne looks... unbalanced? I don't know. I agree that this sounds very British. Also, two sets of triplets! Good luck to her!

Wells??? I actually like surnames-as-first-names, but not this one! Too weird.

they don't sound like New Orleans to me ...They sound like minor British royalty, or wannabes.

Maybe the mom's into British names? A lot of British names are becoming popular in the US now.Jack, Oliver, and Ellie are all popular in the US too (although to be fair, they were popular in the UK first).

it's when they're all together in the same family ...And especially when Georgie and Wills are added in. One or two of these names wouldn't stand out, but together it's weird.

I like Jack, Ellie is meh, and Oliver is okay. Georgie- I kind of like it, although I prefer Georgeta.
Vivienne- really pretty.
Wells- not a fan of this one.

I like Jack but only as a nn. Oliver is lovely but Ollie isn't, so it's a risk. Ellie could be anything and therefore feels more like nothing. And the thought of Ellie and Ollie isn't pleasant!Georgie, like Ellie, would benefit from a longer version as the official name. I'd go for Georgina myself, but Georgia would do just fine. Vivienne won't get a French pronunciation, even in New Orleans, so I'd prefer Vivien; but it's a name in good standing. Wells (f)? Really? How very odd.
