[Opinions] Celeb BA
Cher Lloyd, the English singer behind the 2012 song Want U Back, has given birth to a beautiful baby girl named...Delilah Rae, double-barreled.WDYT? I'm not a fan of Rae as a mn bc filler, but despite the negative Biblical association, I kinda like Delilah. :)~~~~~A real girl isn't perfect, and a perfect girl isn't real. ~Harry StylesPNLs:

Delilah isn't my style at all, plus I hate Rae as a middle name. The combo sounds very southern US, particularly with Rae as the middle name.

Delilah is okay.
I absolutely hate Rae. It's just one of those dull filler middle names.

It wouldn’t be that bad if it wasn’t for the double-barreled part. Delilah does have a very negative association in the Tanach (Hebrew Bible), so I dislike it for that reason, but it’s not horrible. The hyphenation, though .... totally nmsaa. In the US it brings to mind rural Appalachia along with names like Jim-Bob, Billy-Joe, Sarah-Jean, Mary-Ann, and so on.

I've heard worse. It has a pleasant sound, makes me think of a jazz singer. But as a POTO fan, I just hear the Phantom crying: "Damn you! You little lying Delilah!" :P

I like Delilah much. I used to think it was too "femme fatale" to use, but I don't think so any longer. However, I hate Rae and if she's called Delilah Rae all of the time, then it ruins Delilah.

I like it. The biblical character doesn't bother me at all, and I like Rae as a middle name; I think it's spunky enough to not be filler. It flows, too. One of the better celebrity BA names."Want U Back" is still horrible, though.

Is that the song where she's like "UGH!!!" every 5 seconds?

Yeah, that's the one! :)

Bruh, people are allowed to disagree with you. It's not a fight. It's not drama. It's fine. You can like the song, you can call the song art, and other people can hate the song. Art is there to be criticized. It's okay!

As celebrity baby names go, it's much, much better than most. I'm not real crazy about Delilah, mainly because it sounds a bit cartoonish, and also because it reminds me of this very annoying, smarmy radio personality from years ago. But it does have a pleasant sound to the ear. And Deliah Rae does sound good.

Oh, you must be talking about The Delilah Show! Yeah, I couldn't stand her! Thank heavens she went off the air. lol and all her listeners' stories were tearjerkers, it seemed like.

I'm not a fan. I don't really mind Rae since I only ever encounter it hidden in the middle. Delilah doesn't appeal to me though.

Meh. I don't like double barreled names unless it's short like Mary-Anne or something like that... Delilah is nice but too trendy and popular which I think is odd considering its negative Biblical connotation... I don't like Rae much at all though I do like Ray for a boy. Overall not a huge fan but it could definitely be worse.
