I loooove Trixie! I’ve mostly seen her get negative comments, but I don’t really care. I think it’s a fun, energetic, playful name with a certain kindness and caring side too. Stylish, fashionable, intelligent and straight talking, but not mean. I connect it with a character (Beatrix ‘Trixie’ Franklin from Call the Midwife) and she really made me love it. Trixie is a big part of the reason why I prefer Beatrix over Beatrice. I’ve struggled a bit with middles for Trixie, names like Tallulah, Sylvie and many -we ending names feel right, but sound too cutesy imo. Maybe Trixie Marilyn, Trixie Lavender, or Trixie Elizabeth.
