Ayla is okay but less evocative and fun compared to the other two.

I'd probably choose Eira as I'm Welsh. The other two are both pretty but I don't think they are established enough in English naming culture to use them without being from that origin - especially Ylva. All are very pretty, though.

I love Eira, I'd definitely choose that for the sound. For the meaning I'd choose Ylva.

Ok Ylva! A name that awakens some feelings in me! A tiny-poem name. Wow haven't had this feeling in a while! Ten years ago I would have written a really focused little blog analyzing the silvery winter journey this name is taking me on. I.... thinkI won't now? But maybe I should?

Eira is second. The "r" takes me on a lil journey. Ayla does diddly squat for me, it's just the same as going "la la la" or eating a piece of candy.

Eira- snow/mercy - pretty
Ayla - moonlight/halo - also really nice.

I think I might be incapable of pronouncing Eira correctly...unless it's just like Ira, in which case I'd used Ira. I like it, though, just wouldn't use it.

I'd pick Ayla (Turkish "moonlight") pronounced EYE-la like Isla. I really like the sound of it.
Ylva is the coolest, but I know I can't make the initial vowel correctly. I feel like for me to use it, would be lame because of that.
Eira is lovely too ... on paper, but when I say it I feel like I'm saying the word "air" and I hear the word "error."

I like Ylva the best, the spelling is interesting, the sound is nice, and the meaning she-wolf is surprisingly tough :)

Although Ayla with the original spelling of Elah is a very nice name too.

I think Ayla has the best meaning (I assume you mean the Turkish name?), but I prefer the look and the sound of Eira. If I had to pick one of them for my daughter (if I had one), my choice would be Eira: it works best here in Finland of all of the three.

i don't like the sound of Ayla and Ylva is dated, and not my style. Eira is kinda pretty though. i know of a baby named this, and it's also one if my friend's middl name.

Ylva is unfortunately too similar to Ilva, the name of a steelworks company.

Eira is too confusing. I much prefer Erin with a similar sound and Eirlys with a similar meaning.

If you mean Ayla the Turkish moonlight I would choose it again. I love that meaning. But I prefer using Ayla (Turkish) and Elah (Hebrew).
