Really adorable. I’d prefer no nickname if I chose this for my child. I wish it wasn’t so popular, and I also feel like one less L is more confusing than this.
Lilian with one L. People get confused easily with a name like this. Sort of like spelling Amelia, Emilia, Emilia, or Adeline, Adaline, etc.

I like Lillian a lot. While I adore Lily, Lillian (or Lilian) is a more mature voice. The repeating l sound is nice too. I also like it a lot as a nickname for Elizabeth.

I think it's a good name, but I definitely prefer Lilith

I prefer just Lily, but this is nice too.

It's short and sweet. I prefer Lily or Lilith. It's a very no-nonsense name.

I prefer Lilian - neater and tidier. Though I like Gillian enough to use it, so nothing proves anything. And I prefer Lilian to Lily, which I find sickly-sweet and boring through overuse. But Lilian runs the risk of having Lily as a nn.

Lily's stuffy, dowdy older cousin.
