LOVE it! It's so elegant and charming. I may be be biased bc Vamps fan, though. lol but even without the song, I'd love it.

I love it, but kinda prefer the look of Cecelia more. Unfortunately, the meaning isn’t great.

I love Cecily and would use it without hesitation.
Cecile has a whiney sound that bugs me, but it would be OK as a mn.
Cecilia, apart from the wonderful Simon & Garfunkel song about the very naughty lady, is too long, too frilly and, somehow, also too starched. ETA I prefer it to fake-news Cecelia any time.

It sounds more Catholic to me than the average saint's name.
There's the old song "Shrine of St Cecilia" and then the more recent Foo Fighters one, "St Cecilia".
I get the feeling it's a popular confirmation name, too, because she's patron of music and musicians.
I think there's something very delicate and precise about it...verging on supercilious, if I decided to dislike it, but I can also read a humble/quaint vibe into it.
I wouldn't use it, but I like it for other people.

I agree. Cecelia looks better to me, especially because most words structured like Cecilia would be pronounced "sess-ill-ih-ah" rather than "sess-see-lih-ah". I know that's not the case with Cecilia, but I can't help but pronounce it like that in my head accidentally every time.
Though this might heavily depend on where you live too.
It's a very pretty name, elegant. Cecilia / Cecelia sounds like a girl with good morals, intelligent, feminine, but not the type to live on a tan bed or wear bright orange fake tan and smell like chemicals.
Though it has no nicknames I like (not an overly negative thing, but still)
