I find it preppy and stuffy, and not interesting.

I grew up with The Famous Five so I've known this name for a very long time... and I've always been stuck between actively liking it, and just keeping it at an arms distance in the "interesting" pile

I like it too! Only problem is, I'd keep wondering about the four elder siblings, who must surely exist somewhere! Our new national cricket captain is named Quinton, which sounds OK but I don't like the look as much as I do Quentin.

I really like it too. I went to school with a Quentin so it's always been a familiar name to me.

I love it and it has been one of my favorite names for a very long time.

It's been one of my favorite boys' name for quite a long time. If I'd ever had a second son, Quentin would have had a 50% chance of being his name.

Ever since reading the Famous Five books I’ve loved the name Quentin. Despite that in the books he is a rather rude and intricate professor. Quentin Julian as full name?

He isn't quite so rude in the games. I grew up with the games and the 70s TV series and never even saw the books until MUCH later on

Nah. Got to be Quentin George!

I've enjoyed this name for years. It ages well and is short enough that it doesn't matter that it doesn't have any nice nicknames.

It's ok

I like it - the q initial is original and the name feels shrewd and piquant. I would definitely consider using it, especially for a son that was my fifth child.
