Gotta give Katrina a second chance. Kitty could be used in case some people aren't too happy with the name.

Katrina is my choice. I know Catriona is legit, but the spelling doesn't look like it, and the name isn't pronounced the way it's spelled, and unles you live in Scotland and speak Gaelic, using Catriona seems pretentious.
Kitty is okay, but it's like Ginger; not everyone can wear it well. If Katrina needs a nn I'd pick Trina.

Kitty is my favourite nn for all the Kat- or Cat- names; probably because it is neither Cathy nor Kate.

I much prefer the look of Catriona, but I can't think of a way of preventing people from guessing the pronunciation, getting it wrong and calling her CAT ree OH na. So, mn only, I think.

Definitely Catriona, with the nickname Cat. If you were to use Katerina, I still like the nickname Kat.

Catriona for sure. I don't think Kitty works too much in modern day life. I think it just has weird associations. I'd be more inclined to use Cat or Trina.

I prefer the spelling Katrina. Catriona looks like a entirely different name. I love the nickname Kitty.

Katrina is easier for me, so I'd probably use that if I were naming my own kid.
But I like the way Catriona looks better.

Kitty isn't my favorite nickname. I end up thinking of the mother from That 70's Show, or of a stray cat.
Ironically enough given my last comment, I like Cat more as a nickname, so take my opinion with a grain of salt! :P
Rina or Reenie are also cute nicknames imo.

I prefer Katrina and adore the nickname Kitty.
