[Facts] Natale
Hi i know this name is in the database, but i was wondering if it was also a male name. MY boyfriend Pierre's grandfather's name was Natale, he was born on christmas day in Italy. I thought it had something to do with Christmas.~~* BEX *~~Surfing is my religion!Image hosting by Photobucket

It's a place name, too! Natale = Birthday, and as a name refers to December 25 ... as does the South African province of KwaZulu Natal, which was named Natal by passing Portuguese sailors who saw its lovely coastline for the first time one Christmas day in the 16th century (I think! Bit hazy on the dates ...).

In Italian the word for Christmas is Natale.Merry Christmas = Buone Feste Natalizie or Buon Natale ===

In my namebook it's also listed as a male name, but it's a variant of Nathaniel there.
