If I didn't love Laura so much, I'd love Lorna more. It does have echoes of 'forlorn', but that doesn't bother me: I once knew a perfectly ordinary, cheerful Lorna.

Awful. Old-ladyish.

I like it, even with the Lorna Doone cookies. Which I've eaten and liked.

It’s a bit middle-aged. The ones I know are all 50+.

It's ok

I like it! It's dated but I think it could probably be used now. I also like Lorena, Leona and Lorraine.

It feels stiff to me. I much prefer Lorena, it’s prettier and has a better sound and flow.

I love Lorna! It's so deliciously....forlorn. It's haunting and yet also very pedestrian. It's got that gutter/stars tension happening that I like so much. It would work on a dramatic 18th century heroine on the windswept moors, and also on a waitress with a gravelly voice who works at a truck stop diner. It's dated and probably not ready for a comeback yet, but it'll fit in great with the Helens and Irenes that are coming in the next decade or two.
