It’s a beautiful name. I think I prefer Lilia though.

Yes, it's a very girly name, but it is a girl's name afterall. I never hear people say that a boys names is too masculine. I'm seeing more and more parents pick unisex names, so compared to those, I suppose Liliana would be super frilly. I love the name, frills and all. I know a few girls named Liliana. One goes by mostly Lily, the other two almost always go by their full names. Lily is a cute NN, which is an added bonus. HTH. :)

I don’t hate it, but I don’t really like it either. I prefer Lily, Lillian & Lilia.

Too many frills and not enough substance. It sounds pretty in Italian, but lends itself to the annoying li-lee-AH-nə, the AH pronounced like the a in car in English.

It's too long and elaborate for me personally. It also feels tired.I prefer Lily which I love. I also like Lilia better.

I love Liliana. When I was a kid, I wanted to name a daughter this so badly. So, I have a big soft spot for it, despite the popularity of Lily and co. It's just so pretty.

Goodness. Even Lily is too ornate for me ... Liliana is just sitting up and begging to be turned into a shorter, snappier nn, and no doubt Lily, or Lilli, would be it. So, since I don't seriously expect anyone to go by Liliana, I suppose one might as well just bow to the inevitable and use Lily in the first place.

Liliana is a very pretty name, just bordering on overly frilly. I've met one Liliana in real life - she was the dental assistant when I had my wisdom teeth were removed. She was very sympathetic, and is probably the reason Liliana gives me a very Hispanic / Latinx mental image when I hear and read it.

Love it! I've always preferred it over Lillian and Lilia. I also love Lillie by itself though.

I'm leaning a bit more towards Lillian at the moment but Liliana is nice too, it is a sweet name
