The sounds of Delilah don't please me. What could it shorten to - Dilly? Duh? So it would have to be Eliza, though I far prefer it as a nn for Elizabeth and if it were me, I'd use the full form as a given name and let it be anything from Eliza to Betty, depending on current fashion and personal preference.
