The name conveys a sense of lightness, kindness/friendliness & positivity.
I like it, Sunny (+ the northern europe var. Sunnyi) on her own is pretty, too.
Soleil Mirabeau

I love Soleil. It’s a beautiful, sunny, and unique name you don’t hear everyday. I would love to use it as a middle name if a partner liked it. I really like the sound of light, airy Soleil.Soleil Juniper, Soleil Isabelle, and Soleil June is nice. So is Soleil Justine.

I saw a girl on Instagram named Soleil. She was older, looked to be around college age. So I was surprised to see it.
The name fit her very well. Like, exactly the type of person I’d expect to be named Soleil. She had dark brown hair and loved fashion, and would often dress like y2k girls you’d find on Pinterest. I do quite like how it sounds, but I feel like it’s a bit much for your average person. It’s still pretty and I’m not against it, but I wouldn’t use it myself. It’s like… the high fashion of naming??? If that makes sense??? It has rich girl vibes but not in a bad way necessarily. Like, I couldn’t picture an accountant being named Soleil. I feel the same way about Lorelei. I could see myself using it for a character, or potentially as a middle name, though I’m hesitant.

It looks very pretty. I prefer just Sunny, though.

My uncle used to live in a house called Beau Soleil. That's my first association; of course it also shows the French grammatical gender, which makes me mildly amused at its strictly female vibe currently. I wouldn't use it; as far as meanings go, I'm OK with Selina, Selene etc or Stella.

Soleil is a beautiful name, but there might be some spelling/pronunciation issues outside France. I like Soleil Juliet.

It’s fine. I find the sound pretty but the look kinda awkward. I prefer it as a middle name I think.I like Soleil Juniper and Soleil Joy.
