[Opinions] Trent
This name has been on my mind for a minute now, and quite frankly when I first heard it I thought it was kinda odd. I mean, why Trent? Why not Brent? But it’s really growing on me now. I think it’s quite handsome in a way. For some reason it kinda gives me Southern vibes. But anyhow, what are your thoughts on the name Trent? Would you prefer Trenton or Brent? What’s a good middle name for it?

Trent is a very cool name, imo. I used to know some when I was younger; they were awesome. Oh, and it reminds me of the Total Drama character.

The Trent is a river in the UK which flows through Nottingham. People who are fond of geographical names might like to know that.

Trent and Penn (which there was a post about earlier) are complete, 100%, "preppy" names; but of the two I definitely prefer Trent. Yet even with the very real existence of Trent Reznor, I cannot shake the tennis-playing, popped collar association of Trent.

Reminds me of trout

I don’t hate it but I don’t like it either. Makes me think tent and trench / trench warfare.

It's ok, but better than Trenton or Brent. I prefer Grant over theseMn Anthony, Alexander, Nicholas, Oliver, Michael, Benjamin, Alistair, Daniel, Elliott, William, Matthew, Andrew, Jeremy

Nah, I just think of Trent University.

Some friends of mine recently had a son whom they named Trent Miles. I love Miles, but I don't like Trent very much. It reminds me of the word 'trench'. I don't like Trenton or Brent either. The sound is unattractive.
