Antoinette. No real reason.

Antonia hands down, Antoinette reminds me too much of the I’ll fated French queen.

Antoinette. I love how fussy and French it is. Antonia is stale. I have a friend named Antonina, who goes by Toni, and I agree that it's a nice middle ground - although I could never use it because it's too tied to her.

Antonia. Antoinette is okay, but it sounds a little old-fashioned a bit. But that doesn't mean I dislike it though.

I was at school with an Antoinette, who had a Scottish ln and was mostly known as either Antoinette, Ant or Mac. When she went to nursing college she became Toni. We were good friends, but as names go I do prefer Antonia and would consider using it. Not so frilly and fluffy.

Antoinette is more fun for a character, but definitely Antonia for a real person. Antoinette is too frilly and Marie-Antoinettey.

Antonina is right in the middle: a tiny but frillier than Antonia and a little more interesting, but not too frilly and not too obviously tied to a specific person/reference.

Oh, Antonia for sure. Antoinette is much too heavily tied to Marie Antoinette, even to this day, and isn't nearly as pretty, in my opinion. Antonia seems to flow off the tongue better as well.
