I like it - it's ornate and baroque and strong, but also very cold, despite the fiery meaning. One should take care not to pair it with an equally frosty middle.

Good question! Here's me throwing ideas at a wall:
Seraphina Bernadette - I like this. Bernadette, like Seraphina, feels religious, but unlike Seraphina, it's very warm, and far from glamorous. They play off of each other nicely.
Seraphina Catherine - tempting (great nun name!), but no. Catherine is too cold.
Seraphina Coral - a mermaid in a Disney movie.
Seraphina Cosette - this feels very Nameberry. If you get it you get it
Seraphina Esther - I like the sound, and Seraphina feels like a very starry name to me, which ties in nicely with Esther's meaning. But Esther, while not as cold as Catherine, is still not warm enough.
Seraphina Fern - quaintly Victorian, but too many Fs.
Seraphina Guinevere - melodramatic and gelid.
Seraphina Heather - Heather is unexpected. I genuinely find it pleasant, but it makes me think of the moors, which makes me think of shivering Gothic heroines, which is not the vibe I want with Seraphina.
Seraphina Hero - sparky and bright orange 🍊. This definitely makes Seraphina seem more fiery.
Seraphina Hildegard - nun.
Seraphina Hyacinth - too lacy.

I'm not a huge fan, there's something too frilly and fancy about it for me, and I like frilly and fancy. I prefer Séraphine, which is a name I fluctuate wildly on but just seems more sassy and streamlined overall.
I do like the idea of pairing it with something to bounce off, something clunky or minimalist, but I don't know if that's enough to save it as a fn for me... maybe as a mn though.

I think it has a strong vibe, it sounds unforgettable. Like I won't forget anyone named Seraphina if I came across them, the name is really attractive to me. Nice name

I like it, but I kind of like the spelling Serafina more. It seems more down to earth and less complicated. I used to think it was a combo of Josephina and Sarah.
For a middle name I would just go with Rose or Jane. I think a super wild name just needs a simple middle name to humble it.
I would never use it though, it’s a bit much.

It's ... Sarah, basically, but phantastic. Seems safe-soft-pretty-witchy, like Persephone or Sapphira - but safer, more princess-qualified.
Seraphina also brings to my mind "biblically accurate angels" (creepy)
I keep wanting to say it as se-RAFF-in-a. Because Sarah-FEEN-a sounds so prissy. If it were se-RAFF-in-a I might kind of like it? Not sure. But it'd be better than Sarah-FEEN-a.

I don't know what I really want from this name...
A year ago I'd probably say that I dislike it, particularly because of the unappealing sera- part, also because it sounds dated and clumsy, imo.
Now I'm leaning towards indifferent attitude. But, I still find it somewhat stuffy.

I tend to favor pedestrian nicknames with long, unusual names. I'd name her Seraphina and half call her that, and half "Sera/Sara" for short. I love Sara/Sarah in general. I love unusual names but would also want any kids of mine to be more under-the-radar with strangers than what an unusual name can offer. People raise eyebrows at Nicodemus, Sylvestra, Zacchaeus, or Guinevere, but no one would bat an eye at Nick, Sally, Zack or Gwen. Basically, I want to have my cake and eat it too lmao
*actually now that I stew on it a bit I think I might prefer Sylvie to Sylvestra over Sally. Makes a bit more intuitive sense
Also, several years ago a woman on Nameberry told me she picked Phina for her daughter's NN though. But I still prefer Sera/Sara. No idea which spelling I'd actually go with though. Sera makes more sense with Seraphina but Sara merits less explanation. Idk.

My favorite combo with it is Seraphina Louise. Even though my stepmother dislikes the majority of my name / combo ideas this one she is very vocal about liking and hopes that I would use it someday. She says it sounds like a fantasy princess name.

I love it, if I was brave enough I would use it on a real life second or third daughter if one existed. As it is, as much as I love it even I have doubts because of how weighty the Frills are. It would be so fun if the girl was very girly in personality. But If they were very tomboyish for instance, I would feel bad for saddling them with such a hyper- feminine moniker. I think it is the type of name where it only fits certain types of personalities. Which gives way to one of the other topics I've heard discussed in school before: do we make our names our own or our names make us? Do we shape ourselves as we grow up based on the identity our names imply or The Impressions they give off? What if a Seraphina developed into a hyperfeminine archetype because of the name that was bestowed upon her? Hmmm.....
