[Opinions] Kylie Jenner had a baby name change…
Kylie Jenner announced her sons new name. And it’s Aire! To quote Nameberry,
QuoteAire is a variation of the word "air", which complements older sister Stormi’s meteorological name. It is a homophone of the word and name Heir — a rising choice for baby boys and the middle name of one of Nick Cannon’s sons.
His joins his big sister Stormi. Thoughts?I guess while we’re at that note, would you change your child’s name if you got a lot of blacklash from those around you?

Why not Ariel... that would have been sorta unique also isn't Ariel her makeup artists name or something? Aire sounds like the name of an overpriced water brand, Wolf sounds German tbh. I misspelled it Woolf and sorta like it ngl like Virginia

Sidegrade. It'd be bad to have to basically bark at people "wolf!" when they ask your name but to have to say "air" in response is no better.
I think Wolf might be a tiny bit better actually. At least it has precedent. Would I change my child's name ... well, assuming I'm just me, and not a do-nothing "celebrity" who has to make shit up to get attention, and everyone around me (people I personally know) were pulling me aside to tell me I'd really blown it with my kid's name ... I might change it. If there were enough inputs like that, it'd get to me after a while. I don't think that's what happened to Jenner, though.

Well, I think it sounds... a bit feminine (noted by the -e at the end). But hey, it's better than Wolf. I think the name pairs well with his sister Stormi, like both names are related to the wind/air, aren't they? For your question,
Quote...would you change your child’s name if you got a lot of blacklash from those around you?

I'm not sure but maybe yes. I agree with New_Chloë (New_Chloe) in this question.

I guess if I was a Kardashian and didn't do anything without considering the number of followers I had, and a lot of them didn't like my first choice, I'd have to change it so I didn't lose followers?Aire is dumb; Heir is also dumb. Air is dumb. Stormi is dumb. Kylie Jenner is dumb. Nick Cannon is so dumb I almost fell off the chair thinking about it.Was Heir the kid's name before she changed it?

The boys name was originally Wolf Webster, but people were basically obliterating her online for the choice. Personally, I would much rather be a Wolf than Aire, but whatever. Aire is just disappointing and unimaginative.

Wolf Webster sounds a lot like Wolf Blitzer from CNN; I love saying his name, but he's really the only one that can carry off Wolf without sounding like a doofus.

I saw an article say Aire means "lion of god" which, no, that's Ariel.I also saw another person say it sounds like the male reproductive organ in Arabic...lolWolf Webster definitely sounds better, but I understand the need to change it if it doesn't feel right.

Well, my name tastes are VERY different from the Kardashians' taste. Aire is NOT something I'd choose for my child. But I don't think she should have changed it. Wolf wouldn't a top pick for me, but I do find it nicer than ''Aire''.

I wouldn't have changed it.I also don't think this was done because of backlash (how would Wolf cause more backlash than Aire?) but it's another publicity stunt and it annoys me because it's being done on the back of a child. It's selfish.Wolf is a way better name than Aire.

I don't understand how there was "backlash" on Wolf. Maybe I just don't know enough here but I don't see how it's any different than "Aire" or "Stormi"? I actually like this idea, but prefer Eyre. I mean if you're gonna call your kid Air why not have some real fun with it. Eyre is such a graceful looking name. If I ever had a kid I *know* my name choices would cause backlash, but I don't think I'd change it unless the criticisms were pointing out a legitimate concern that hadn't occurred to me. This Jenner baby is never going to be a "real" person so any teasing or employability worries are nonexistent, they could literally call him whatever nonsense they want. I am cynical enough to suspect this was a plan from the beginning, the idea of changing the name. I think it's just another bid for attention to get people talking about them (and it worked).

Well Kylie says she thought the name didn’t fit him, Aire did more. Maybe she should have it time but idk. I don’t see how Wolf was so terrible tbh, but whatever.Eyre is kinda cool, now that I think about it.

Aire and Stormi, don't like either

Maybe she's a fan of the TV series Airwolf? I don't like either name, but if I had to pick I'd go with Wolf.

I will never understand taking common words like stormy and air and misspelling them. The name is weird enough spelt the usual way.And probably. I don't think I could cope if my dad hated my child's name. That being said, my parents and my future in-laws all like the names we've picked out should we have kids.
