[Opinions] Jerome & Damon
I started liking the name Jerome about a year ago when I read a book called "They Cage the Animals at Night". The main character, Jennings, had a brother named Jerome who was very intelligent and insightful, but later died from some sort of illness that he had had all of his life. I heard it again recently, and when I found out that it means "sacred name", I fell in love with it.
Anyway, wdyt Jerome as a fn? Do you have any mn combos? I like Jerome Patrick, Jerome Michael, Jerome Frederick, and Jerome Derek, but any other suggestions are welcome. Now I have a question about the name Damon. My sister really likes it as a fn and would consider using it, especially since she likes the baseball player Johnny Damon, but she thinks that people would would confuse it with Damian, which very well could happen a lot (The name scares her [and me] because of The Omen lol). Do you think she should use it anyway? Maybe just as a mn?Thanks!-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jerome is a handsome name, though not my style. The only combo you listed that I don't like is Jerome Derek because I dislike Derek overall, and it sounds stunted next to Jerome.Damon is OK. I actually prefer Damian for a few reasons. Damon's is the name of a bar and grill chain of restaurants around here. Damon just sounds incomplete when one considers other names such as Damian. I don't think it's confusing necessarily, but it's not appealing. The final reason I would never use it is because of that money grubbing traitor Johnny Damon. :P (I heart Jonathan Papelbon and the rest of the Sox. hehe)
What are the convulsions of a city in comparison with the insurrections of the soul?
