I don't like Payton but I love Peyton ..

Peyton was actually about equal popularity-wise in 2005 (#130 for girls and #138 for boys). Payton is more popular for girls though but is nowhere near absent from the boys' list.

I don't like it for either, it just seems yet another of the surname-y names ending in -ton or -on sound. But I'd prefer to see it on a boy.

I really dislike it. It just seems totally unattractive to me.

I don't mind it for a boy, but it's really nms for a girl.

Eh, I'm not too keen on it for either gender, but it's a fine name. I'd prefer it on a boy though.

It's not my favorite, but it'd rather see a boy Payton than a girl. Actually, I think one of my teachers mentioned today that she has a little grandson named Payton.

I like this name, but I know a girl named Paiton, and all of the Payton/Peyton/Paitons I've known are girls. I like it a lot (not sure what spelling though) but definitely more so on a girl than a boy.

I don't like Peyton at all, though when it is used, I like it more for a boy than a girl.

I have 3 cousins with variations of this name, 2 girls (Peyton and Padyn) and a boy (Payton). I personally like it on all of them, aside from the weirdness that I have 3 cousins with that name...
