I love Calista, although I prefer the Callista spelling since the original Greek has two L's (lamdas?). Calista / Callista is one name that *sounds* like its meaning: the most beautiful.
Calla doesn't sound finished to my ears. I suppose I'm waiting to hear "lily" after it. It's not a bad name at all. I just prefer Callista so much more.

I love Calista
It's been one of my very top choices recently. I think it's so pretty. And now that Calista Flockhart isn't really around at all, I find I like it even more.
I like the idea of Calla but it just doesn't feel very good in my mouth. I don't know how to explain it exactly but it just seems incomplete and unfinished soundwise.
